Final Broadcast Ratings: September 29, 2014

The second Monday night of the new season saw a tight race between NBC, CBS and ABC, for the most viewers, while NBC had an easy time taking the A18-49 ratings. Just 500k separated CBS (#1) from ABC (#3) in total viewers, with all ABC, NBC and CBS all grabbing around 12 million viewers.

Looking at the season premieres first, CASTLE defeated the CBS' transferred series NCIS: LA. CASTLE collecting about 1.3 million more viewers and had a 11% margin over NCIS: LA, in the A18-49 ratings. FOR NCIS, it was a major disappointment. Both programs lost to THE BLACKLIST, in the A18-49 ratings.

Looking at the week-to-week gains/losses from last Monday's premieres,

THE BIG BANG THEORY - down 1.6 million viewers and lost 13% in the demo ratings.
SCORPION - down 400k in viewers and lost just 3% in the demo ratings.

THE VOICE - even in viewership and up one tenth of a point in the A18-49 ratings.
THE BLACKLIST - down 1.8 million viewers and 18% in the A18- 49 ratings.

GOTHAM - down 900,000 viewers and 12% in the demographic ratings.
SLEEPY HOLLOW - down 300,000 viewers and 15% in the demo ratings.

ABC - 11.9 million viewers, 1.9 rating in A18-49

CBS - 12.4 million viewers, 3.0 rating in A18-49

CW - 0.8 million viewers, 0.9 rating in A18-49

FOX - 6.2 million viewers, 2.3 rating in A18-49

NBC - 12.1 million viewers, 3.6 rating in A18-49
