  • Turner may go OTT
  • CBS ups episode order on drama series
  • Another reboot series for Netflix
  • TNF deal up for grabs

Thursday Night Football deal up for grabs:
The NFL is looking to get a big payday as it prepares to open up the Thursday night package to a long-term deal. The usual players, Turner, CBS, FOX and NBC, are all interested in the package. Experts are predicting the TNF games could fetch around $600 million per season, depending on hop aggressive the bidders get in their bids.



Sci-fi classic getting reboot treatment:
Netflix is bringing back the classic TV series, LOST IN SPACE. It will be the third iteration of the franchise to make to the public. A pilot was made for the 2003 TV season, but failed to get picked up to series.



More CODE BLACK:
CBS has ordered five more episodes of the freshman drma, CODE BLACK, bringing its season total to 18.



Banks leaving syndicated talker:
The freshman syndicated daytime talk show, FABLIFE, will be losing its biggest name, Tyra Banks, this season. Her appearances will shrink to 2-3 episodes a week through December, then only special appearances through the end of the season.



MLB and FOX Regional Sports Networks sign deal:
In a deal that will make fans the happiest, FOX and MLB have come to a three year deal to allow FOX to stream in-market games. Cable authentication will be required to watch the games, online.



Turner going OTT:
No time table has been set, but Turner Networks will be scaling back its offering of shows to streaming services like Netflix and Amazon, in order to soon offer its own OTT service. Turner Networks include TNT, TBS, Adult Swim, Boomerang, Cartoon Network TruTV, and Turner Classic Movies, plus the CNN family of news channels. [LINK]



CW Sets January Premier Dates"
LEGENDS OF TOMORROW and veteran series THE 100, have ben set for January premieres. Both shows will debut on January 21, 2016. LoT will take over the 8 p.m. slot and THE 100 will air at 9 p.m. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and THE ORIGINALS wall move to Friday nights, sometime after the Winter Finale of REIGN, on January 22, 2016.
