Final Broadcast Ratings: October 5, 2015

NBC easily takes the third Monday night of the 2015-16 season, with another strong showing from THE VOICE (12.2 million viewers) and BLINDSPOT (9.10 million viewers). BLINDSPOT ws slightly down, while THE VOICE was mostly flat.

CBS was a solid second place, topping ABC in the three demographic categories. THE BIG BANG THEORY was slightly up in the ratings, while LIFE IN PIECES saw a small overall increase, week-to-week. SCORPION was slightly up in the numbers, while NCIS: LA was flat.

ABC was second in total viewers, but third in the three demos. Both DWTS and CASTLE saw a rise in their week-to-week ratings, but was still not enough to get out of third place.

FOX was much closer to The CW, with its dismal ratings. GOTHAM was slightly down, over last weeks ratings, but MINORITY REPORT took another hit in the numbers, including 22% in the A18-49 demographic. MINORITY REPORT is now challenging THE PLAYER as the favorites of being the first cancellation of the 2015-16 season.

The CW closed out its last three summer shows, as each posted near summer averages on the night.
