Preliminary Ratings: Monday 10/27/14

Now that CBS's early season run of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL is over and BIG BANG has moved back to Thursdays, 2 BROKE GIRLS had its fourth season premiere on Monday night. The episode collected 8.7 million viewers and a 2.4 rating in Adults 18-49. That is slightly down, from last year's 8.9 million viewers and a 2.8 demo rating, which aired after HIMYM, at 8:30 p.m. But, it is up over two million viewers and 20% in the demo, from the season three ender, which aired in May at 8:00 p.m.

THE VOICE powered NBC to the nightly sweep, as the competition series saw week-to-week gains in both viewers and demo ratings. Last night was up 200,000 viewers and 6% in the demo. THE BLACKLIST followed suit, jumping 8% in the demo and about a half million total viewers.

GOTHAM, on FOX, posted it series low, getting just 5.8 million viewers and a 2.2 demo rating. However, it was good enough to place second in the 8 p.m. hour, in the A18-49 ratings. SLEEPY HOLLOW remains constant in its ratings, getting close to five million viewers and a high one, in the demo.

DANCING WITH THE STARS saw a small boost in its numbers as it rose 600k in total viewers and one tenth of a point in the A18-49 ratings. CASTLE was up one million viewers and 27% in the demo, from last week's numbers.
