  • A laugher for Netflix

Netflix picks up comedy for two seasons:
Judd Apatow has not done a TV comedy since UNDECLARED, a decade ago, now has a two season commitment from Netflix for his new series. The untitled series will star Paul Rust and Gillian Jacobs (COMMUNITY), with the first two episodes premiering in 2016. The second season, and 12 more episodes, will follow in 2017.



Gene Simmons, rocker & TV producer:
Lifetime has picked up the Gene Simmons series UGLY MODELS. A series about a UK modeling agency that works with models this unique and unusual looks. The rocker is also heading to MIPCON to push his musical competition series COLISEUM. And, you can currently watch Simmons and band mate Paul Stanley in the AMC docu-series 4TH AND LOUD.



Springer on GSN:
GSN has ordered 20 episodes of the new game show BAGGAGE ON THE ROAD, hosted by veteran talk show host Jerry Springer. The series will premiere in 2015.



NBC developing TV series from bad 90's movie:
Not a surprise that NBC is developing a TV series on the 1990's bad theatrical movie PROBLEM CHILD. What... The rights to YOUNG EINSTEIN not available?
