Final Broadcast Ratings: August 19, 2014

It was an easy NBC sweep in the Tuesday night ratings, as the network recorded the night's most watched program and #1 show in the A18-49 rating, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. The series was just one of three shows that was able to crack the 1.0 barrier, in the demo ratings. AGT more than doubled it's lead in audience numbers and grew 100% in the A18-49 ratings.

CBS, with it's all repeat line up, was just behind in the total viewers numbers, with 7.1 million, but tied ABC in the A18-49 ratings, for second place. The three crime dramas were three of the top four most watched programs of the night.

ABC's line up was nothing more than a 3rd place schedule. Viewership was less than half of NBC's and CBS', and could only equal encores by CBS, in the demo ratings. Blah, blah, blah... You've have all heard this before.

FOX is just limping it way to the fall. The numbers are only good enough to keep ahead of the CW.
