Primetime Cable Ratings: July 29, 2014
The top half of Tuesday's cable chart is nothing but cable original productions. TNT puts two shows in the top 5, including the #1 cable program of the night, RIZZOLI & ISLES. The crime drama drew 4.8 million viewers, down 9% from last week and widening the gap between it and the #1 cable drama MAJOR CRIMES.OWN's THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS rose 700,000 viewers from the previous week, to claim the #2 spot of the night. The program also jumped 11% in the A18-49 ratings.
The bottom half is nothing but broadcast reruns, but generated the best A18-49 ratings of the night. the 10:30 p.m. episode of AMERICAN DAD was the top ratings getter, with a 1.2 score. Four of the top five best A18-49 ratings are from the reruns of the night.
